El Centro Binacional para el Desarrollo Indígena Oaxaqueño (CBDIO), is a non-profit organization with a 501 ( c ) ( 3 ) status. Since 1993, CBDIO has implemented a variety of programs, including interpretation services in indigenous languages, civic participation, leadership development, health education and direct services to the indigenous communities living in a variety of counties in California, including Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, Tulare, Fresno, Madera, Monterey and San Benito.

We have four offices with ten operational staff and three accountants. In order to maintain this level of service, we receive much of our support from private and public foundations. We also hold special events as a way to diversify our funding streams. Nonetheless, this support is not sufficient to be able to continue our activities. The indigenous migrant community is growing every day and we need to consolidate and institutionalize our programs in order to expand our services to other counties in the future.

We accept any donation in the form of a money order or personal check. Please send your donation to Centro Binacional para el Desarrollo Indígena Oaxaqueño or simply to CBDIO. We can provide you with a receipt for your tax deductible donation. Your donation can be for one month, one year or for the duration of your choice and in accordance with your financial possibilities.
